Project Topics and Main Content:
1.Study of geometric structures, band structures, and vibrational properties of two-dimensional materials
2.Exploration of the origins of direct and indirect band gaps in high-entropy semiconductor materials
3.First-principles calculations of electronic structures and various spectra of quantum materials
Project Student Limit: 4 students

• Responsible, proactive, and diligent
• Good teamwork skills
Additional Notes:
Students are expected to first learn the Linux operating system and practice using first-principles calculation software. A research topic will be selected later, followed by learning the related physics.
